Real Madrid and Croatia's Luka Modric have been awarded the 2018 Golden Ball award by France Football magazine for the world's best player.
The 33-year-old former midfielder, Ronaldinho, and Barcelona's Lionel Messi have been on the golden ball for the past 10 years, having won five of them since 2008.
