Watch: Overprivileged jock smashes classmate's drone out of the sky with basketball

jock-nerd.jpgApparently, jocks and nerds at South China Agricultural University don't get along any better than they do in American high school movies. A video has gone viral on the Chinese internet showing a male student bringing down his schoolmate's drone when it dared to fly over the university basketball court where he was shooting hoops with his bros.

After smashing the drone out of the air with his basketball, the jock turns his attention to the pilot saying, "Why are you flying in my territory? My dad is the principal. Our dog food at home is more expensive than your drone."
He then stamps on the poor guy's drone and kicks it across the ground, curses the kid's mother and even tries to beat the cameraman with a mop at the end of the video. The victims, wearing pink polo shirts, are brave enough to stand up for themselves as the jock throws a tantrum and his pals eventually drag him away.
Commenters online have voiced their disgust at the jock's actions:

@CherryChuen says, "He went too far! His parents should be ashamed. If you have money, use it to help those in need."
@NicksonSoo says, "The second generation rich kids don't listen to their tutors, nor their mothers, tell him to go home and eat dog food."
@ShunShun says, "People like this are scum. Sooner or later his family will be bankrupt. Sadly, there are always some who follow along."
This Chinese jock is a stereotypical example of a second generation rich kid, known in Chinese as fuerdai, who think they own the world and can bring down any drone that happens to fly into their airspace.
In fact, the jock is so incredibly stereotypical that some netizens have questioned the videos authenticity.
"This is bullshit. Not even a fuerdai is that heartless," commented one netizen on Youku.
"Uh, what crappy acting, the second i saw it I knew it was just some promotion," wrote another web user.
