Most people keep their ungodly sexual desires deep inside, only to be indulged in private on their computers. It makes you wonder... what secrets do your neighbors have? What kind of porn are they watching? And how much and for how long? Thanks to some public (and anonymous) data, you can now find out.
Pornhub may be the most visited porn site in the world, racking up 14.7 billion visitors in 2013 alone. That's a lot of porn. Interestingly, they have created a (safe for work) site that divulges statistical insights into their usage data, called Pornhub Insights. Here are some of the findings I found interesting.

Porn Trends in the United States
Californians love Asians. That's just one important thing we know based on Pornhub's statistics. After that, they're prone to watching teen and massage-based videos, and they usually all stay on for 11 minutes or more.
To see what's going on in your state, just head to their interactive map and select your state to view its top 3 searches. Also, note the duration of the average visit for your state.
Some of us have more time than others.
Porn Trends Amongst Gamers
Gamers love their games, but they seem to love porn just as much. Pornhub strives to bring their experience to you no matter the platform. Looking at their game console stats, it's apparent that gamers spend more time on the site, watch more videos, and are more selective when it comes to porn in contrast with average users.
Curious to know which console spends the most time looking at porn?
You'll never look at your PlayStation-playing friend the same again.
When People Are Less Likely to Watch Porn
There is a direct correlation with porn views and major events in sports, TV, and holidays. Some people would rather watch their favorite TV shows over pornography, especially The Walking Dead, whose Season 3 finale took home the award for "Top TV Event That Delayed Gratification."
Holidays are even worse, which are meant for family time—not wanking it.
And only in America can porn statistics narrate the 2013 NBA Finals. As the statistics show below, as the game fluctuated, so did people's porn habits.
By game seven, there was a 31% dip in San Antonio, and a 34% dip in Miami.
Porn Habits Across the World
Across the pond, out worldly brothers are no different, and watch just as much, if not more, porn than us Americans. And they've got different tastes.
For all of you Brits in the United Kingdom, it's no surprise that the event that killed your porno mood more than anything else was the Royal Wedding.
