During the National Day of Palestinian prisoners, April 17, the General Delegation of Palestine in France wrote the following report. We read: "The issue of Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli jails is not limited to numbers or statistics, but about their situation, you must know their number, detention and living conditions. The number of arrests in 2009 reached the number of 5200, or an average of 14 arrests per day. These thousands of prisoners men, women and children are held in 13 prisons and detention centers 3 through Israel .. (...) According to a recent report by "Friends Of Humanity International" published April 1, 2010, the 2009 was one of the most difficult years for Palestinian prisoners. (...) The Israeli occupation forces continued in 2009 to practice all kinds of arrests, raids and kidnappings. (...) There are more than 1000 prisoners in Israeli jails suffering from chronic diseases, which are subject to medical negligence. (...) Considering that under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, to which Israel is a signatory, a child means every human being below the age of eighteen years, whereas Palestinian prisoners, including children, are subjected to humiliating and degrading treatment, whereas the Israeli authorities continue to use physical force in interrogations, as well as physical and psychological threats up to torture, including bullying detainees and obtain confessions from them, the General Delegation of Palestine in France demand respect for the absolute prohibition of torture as required by international law. The new torture
Among the
abuses, the Palestinian Minister of Prisoners Issa Qaraqa ', reports a
new scandal: Israeli soldiers urinated on two children aged 13 and
forced to remain naked in the toilet for two days.
He said, however, that the worst was when the soldiers came and instead
of relieving himself in the toilet, they pissed on the head and face
the two boys. Then the soldiers mocked and laughed at them while taking pictures.
After two days of this cruel treatment, they were taken in the colony
of Binyamin and they were asked to 10pm to 3am, then took them to the

"military officials refused to" respond to the accusations of sexual abuse because no details were provided,'' said a spokesman. '''' CNN spoke of a Palestinian child unidentified claimed that IDF soldiers had tried to push an object into the rectum'' and dozens of officers watched it laughing. CNN was the source of the association'' Defense of Children International'' (DCI). In May 2010, the organization has asked the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture to investigate 14 cases of sexual abuse of which he had knowledge and were committed by soldiers and police interrogators January 2009 April 2010. Of these 360 children 145 were convicted, 200 were awaiting trial, and 15 were in administrative detention. The report said that about 500 young people had reached their eighteenth year in detention. About 75 were ill and had not been treated, and almost all had been tortured and abused. Each year, approximately 700 children are arrested, most for stone-throwing, then interrogated without a lawyer and convicted. Over 80% of them have signed forced confessions, one third written in Hebrew they do not understand.
On May 10, the Haaretz journalist Amira Hass wrote (...)'' 69 children complained of being beaten, four have been victims of sexual abuse and 12 other children claimed to have been risk of sexual abuse.''
