It is common knowledge by now that Twitter is going to be deeply integrated into Apple’s forthcoming iOS 5 operating system. And it looks like Twitter thinks this will be a game changer: they’re holding two developers conferences outside of San Francisco to ensure that their developers are ready for their new playground.
Announced on their developer blog, these conferences (dubbed “Teatime”) will be held in London on October 10th and New York on October 12th.

As Twitter explains on their blog, the focus will be on iOS 5 as well as a few other new development:
“There’s a lot going on in the ecosystem and we’d like to take this chance to share the highlights with you – including the latest developments with the platform, areas of opportunity that we’re seeing, and a heavy focus on the iOS 5 Twitter integration for developers. We’ll also be holding a Q&A session with members of the platform team, plus time to hang out with each other.”
Space is limited to just 150 attendees, and they promise to add additional cities in the near future.
As The Next Web reports, Apple is expected to announce its newest operating system, iOS 5, on October 4th. This would mean that the two Twitter developer conferences are scheduled at the perfect time to inform developers about how to harness Twitter’s integration into future Apple products.
