FC Bayern Munich Player Salaries 2015-16

Bayern Munich SalariesWhen Pep Guardiola took charge of FC Bayern Munich two years ago they had just won the treble of domestic league, cup and the champions League and Bayern had the highest wage bill in German league. The wage bill for treble winning side in 2013 was around €150 million (euros)
but with the arrival of Pep Guardiola and some very high profile signings in two years he has been in charge at the club Bayern Munich’s most recent wage bill has increased to €180 million which got an increase of €30 million in just over an year.
Bayern Munich spent around €50 million in transfer fee during the 2014 summer window when they brought in Xabi Alonso, Medhi Benatia while couple of free transfers like Lewandowski & Sebastian Rode. Lewandowski who is the the highest paid player not only in the Bayern Team but also in Bundesliga with total yearly salary of €15million a year plus Bayern had to pay one off signing bonus as well.
Update: Summer 2015 – Bayern Munich spent another €55 million on transfers during 2015 summer window as they brought four players to strengthen the squad. here are the details of recent signings.

Bayern Munich squad salaries and player contract details were leaked earlier in the summer and here are the details of figures which were quoted in Germany media which might and might not be 100% accurate.
  1. Current Bayern Squad is the most expensive in club and Bundesliga history.
  2. Robert Lewandowski is the highest paid player in Bayern Munich alongside Arjan Robben and Frank Ribery. Bayern Also paid around €5 million signing bonus when they signed him on free transfer.
  3. Manuel Neuer signed a new contract after his world cup heroics which made him the highest paid keeper in the world.
  4. Bayern Munich has a policy according to which any Academy player who breaks into the first team, signs a new contract after his first competitive appearance for the club. 2 year contract with possible extention on the basis of performance.
